I can’t say I understand others…
How they’re living.
How they’re reacting.

I’ve never been in their shoes
to understand how they feel.
I haven’t lived they’re life…

So how will I understand?
How will they understand?
How will humanity understand?

When life is a unique experience
to each and one of those who
pass through it.

Each person has to face their demons.
They have to face their fears everyday…
their own life challenges.

And all we say is “It’s ok.”
Or “Such a pity…”
Even “They deserve it.”

What the hell do you think you know?
What do you think you can criticize,
if you weren’t the one living through it?

We’ve only learned ways of communication.
But we are not communicating…
We are not understanding.

No matter how much we try,
We will never fully understand each other.
For each human is a whole world to uncover.

And we cannot dare to understand
the unknown, when we,
Don’t even understand ourselves.
